"To My
Fellow Parents and Teachers,
I want to
share with you my financial story. Now don't jump to any
conclusions, this is important, especially if you have children who
will be heading to college. This story begins five years ago
when I met Patrick Friel and began working with Discovery Financial
Group and Discovery Collegiate Advisors. My story continues
today. Simply put, I am in far better financial condition than
I could have imagined a few short years ago.
Through working with
Discovery
Financial Group I have watched as my assets tripled during this
period. Now keep in mind we just went through the worst three years in
stock market history. In addition, I now have a beautiful in
ground pool, a vacation/retirement home in Florida, and my dream of
retiring at 58 is coming true
as opposed to
accepting the fact, as most people do, of working until age 62 or
beyond. And imagine, I'm not even contributing to that
retirement plan any longer!
Now most
importantly, my son's education: By working with Discovery
Collegiate Advisors, my son's education will be funded without
exhausting my hard earned savings. Discovery Collegiate Advisors
developed a plan that will both lower the amount that I will have to pay
out-of-pocket each year for my son's education, and
will guide me in the
best way to pay for those out-of-pocket expenses I do incur. All
this being done while keeping my financial future secure.
