notice is being provided on behalf of Discovery Financial Group,
Inc., and it's subsidiary companies. In this notice, Discovery
Financial Group, Inc. and the herein referenced subsidiaries are
referred to collectively as "Discovery," "we," or "our." For
the most part, the information we collect is given to us directly by
either you or your individual Financial
Representative/Agent/Solicitor/Consultant/Advisor.
Privacy Policy - In providing financial services and products to
you, we collect certain nonpublic personal information about you.
Our policy is to keep this information strictly safeguarded and
confidential, and to use or disclose it only as necessary and/or
customary in order to conduct our business, provide our services or
products to you, and as otherwise permitted by law.
Information Collected - "Nonpublic personal information" is
individual information about you or your family that is necessary in
order to provide any or all of your services to you. Some, but
not all of the information may include: name, address, telephone
number, employment, income, family members, assets, investment
objectives and personal financial situation. We may also
receive information from a Consumer-Reporting Agency, along with an
Insurance Company, Investment Company and/or Mortgage Lender.
Information Disclosed - We disclose nonpublic personal information
about you only as permitted by law or authorized by you.
We also disclose your information to financial institutions with
which we have joint marketing agreements, such as mutual fund
companies, insurance companies, and/or mortgage lenders, all of
which are also required to notify you directly of their privacy
procedures. We do not sell your information to any companies
so that they may solicit you.
Security Policy - Discovery considers your information to be
confidential. Only those individuals who need you information
to perform their jobs are authorized to have that information.
We also maintain physical, electronic, and/or procedural safeguards
with respect to your information in order to protect the
confidentiality of your information.
