Advisors, Inc
Founder and CEO, Patrick J. Friel,
established Discovery Collegiate Advisors in 1997 as an additional
service offered by Discovery Financial Group, Inc. It was then
incorporated into an affiliate company in 2003. The goal of
Discovery Financial Group, Inc. and its affiliate companies is to
assist people in "Discovering Their Potential"®
through the "Discovery Process."
The "Discovery Process" began
with a single man's vision. Life experiences and positions
throughout several financial sectors formed the vision that has now
turned into Patrick's life mission. Patrick started Discovery
Financial Group in 1995 by establishing this unique system.
The "Discovery Process" expanded
into college planning through the establishment of Discovery
Collegiate Advisors, Inc. where parents are provided with the most cost-effective method of
paying for college while always seeking to preserve hard earned assets and minimize
out-of-pocket expenses.
Currently Discovery Collegiate
Advisors, Inc. consists of advisors who are fully trained in the federal
as well as the institutional methodology that are the guidelines
utilized by colleges and the federal government in determining how
much parents will pay for their child's education. Each advisor is also fully trained in financial analysis and
consultation and can
therefore can also assist you finding the best ways to fund your
child's education.
Discovery Collegiate Advisors,
Inc. is associated with the Chamber of Commerce, the
National Collegiate Advisors, and the Better Business Bureau of
Southern Ocean County.
Discovery is an active member of
its community. We support our local schools by sponsoring
their athletic programs, and hosting educational seminars in which
we offer college guidance on a regular basis. Discovery also
sponsors children's sports in our community along with many other
organizations.
